Roesing Ape, AKA Christopher Roesing, is a Cincinnati Based, Northern Kentucky native, artist and promoter. Holding degrees in French and Theatre from Northern Kentucky University and A Masters in Arts Administration and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati's college Conservator of music and the college of Business, he has been highly active in the Cincinnati arts scene for a decade. Roesing Ape has released four experimental music albums on local labels and has been included in several musical compilations in other cities across the country. He is also a published novelist, and has been creating video for local dancers and performers for four years, with Choreographers without companies and performance and Time Arts Series, Media Bridges' Autumedia and Tha Blast Urban Arts and Cultural Festival. He has performed in over 15 cities nationally and abroad in Germany, and regularly creates performance art and musical show for Cincinnati events. Roesing Ape is also the founder of Art Damage, Inc; a small non-profit dedicated to bringing experimental and noise arts to Cincinnati Audiences. His day job as Direct* of Development & External Relations for Madcap Puppet Theatre brings him great joy.
